Dear Sir / Madam,
Let me acquaint you and your institution with a proposal of taking part at the fourth year of Antropofest, a film festival that focuses mainly on anthropological issues. By all means you can take part at the festival as a spectator, however you can participace as a co-organiser of the festival programme as well. If you, your colleagues, students or friends have made or cooperated on a film which deals with anthropological or ethnological issues and you would like to share it with the public, you have a unique chance to do so at the Antropofest.
Antropofest is organised by students and graduates of Social Anthropology, Departement of Social Sciences, University of Pardubice. The University together with the Dobeška Theatre support the festival as its partners. The aim of the Antropofest is to make the experts as well as the public familiar with one of the research tools of socio-anthropology –anthropological film. Based on these films, life and culture of various human communities and their social groups are researched.
Antropofest stands for an open display of anthropological films. It is aimed on everybody who is interested in above mentioned issues and would like to participate at the event with his/her film. Antropofest will take place in The Dobeška Theatre in Prague on January 25th and 26th, 2013.
